Important Buttons
Power Switch - Located next to the mode dial on top of the camera
.Shutter Button - Located on top of the hand grip.
Mode Dial - Selects camera mode. Turn dial until desired mode is next to the white mark.
Lens Release Button - Located on the front of the camera to the right of the lens.
Playback Button - Located on the back of the camera body.
Battery Compartment Lock - Located on the bottom of the camera body. Slide to release the compartment door.
Record Button - Located on the back of the camera next to the viewfinder.

What do the lenses do?
18-55mm - Standard zoom lens offering both macro and wide focus capabilities.
75-300mm - Versatile telephoto that can be used for portraiture, sports, and other long-range subjects.

How do I focus the camera?
Push the shutter button part-way down. You should hear the lens make a mechanical noise as it focuses. Once the camera is focused, press the shutter button all the way down to take a photo.
How do I record video?
Turn the Mode Dial to the video camera icon. Press the record button to start recording video.
How do I get content onto a computer?
Smartphone: Download “Camera Connect” from the App Store/Google Play, and follow the in-app instructions.
Computer: You can transfer photos and videos by inserting the SD card directly into a computer, or by connecting to the camera via the transfer cable.
