Flat Fee for Accessories- $25
Borrowers must be 18 or older, have a CRRL library card, and agree to the Guidelines for Borrowing and sign a Lending Agreement.
Items must be picked up from and returned to IdeaSpace at 1616 Princess Anne Street, Fredericksburg, VA during open hours.
Late Fees- $10 a day. Items are considered lost after one week overdue.
Important Buttons
Platter- The platters control the audio playhead. When the vinyl button is turned on, you can create the iconic vinyl record scratch by turning the platter.
Library and Load Switches- Located at the top center of the controller, the library switch will navigate your music library. Press Load One or Load Two to load your tracks onto either side of the controller.
Play- Press to begin playing your track. Press again to pause.
Cue- The cue button will return to the start of the track or selected cue point.
Pitch Fader- Slide the pitch fader up or down to adjust the speed of the current track.
Recommended Software
Serato DJ Lite- This software is required to use the MC4000, and can automatically import tracks from iTunes or SoundCloud.
Serato can be downloaded for free from Serato.com.

How do I power on the controller?
The power button is located on the back right of the controller, near the DC cable.
How do I attach headphones to the controller?
There are two microphone inputs on the bottom left corner of the controller.
Can I use the MC4000 without a computer?
No. The MC4000 must be connected to a laptop via the USB cable to function.
